Along with Sub-Zero and Scorpion, Funko collectors might also like to get their hands on controversial new character Cole Young and the iconic Sonya Blade.
Now, Funko shows off several collectible Pop! Funko has unveiled their new line of Mortal Kombat movie Funko Pop figures on their official Twitter account. The four characters represented in the new line are Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade and the film’s new protagonist character, Cole Young.
The new Mortal Kombat movie Funko Pop line also has two special retailer-exclusive figures. Entertainment Earth will have an exclusive glow-in-the-dark Sub-Zero figure, while Wal-Mart will have an exclusive crouching Scorpion figure.
However, you'll want to pre-order the Entertainment Earth exclusive glow-in-the-dark Sub Zero and the Walmart exclusive Scorpion first. After you've sorted those figures out, you can grab the rest of the standard wave here at Walmart and here at Entertainment Earth. Cole Young is the one big newcomer for the Mortal Kombat reboot, and his introduction has brought with it a number of mysteries for fans to puzzle over. Cole’s true identity has been a matter of debate, Mortal Kombat Movie Pops with some believing he has blood ties to either Scorpion or Sub-Zero. As the main protagonist of the new film, he’ll surely have some larger connections to the franchise lore than has yet been revealed. Entertainment Earth gets a Sub-Zero with glowing eyes and outfit. Others include Sonya Blade, Cole Young, Sub-Zero, a standing Scorpion and a Chase variant of Scorpion unmasked. These won’t release until June 3, over a month after the film has so fans can prepare ahead of time.
